Orthotek Lab November 18, 2023, 20:00, Shanghai

On October 13, 2023, Dr. Zhu Junjun was invited to participate in the "Shanghai Seminar on Biomechanics Research and Applications by Professor Zhao Yisu." Professor Zhao Yisu is an academician of the National Academy of Engineering, a lifelong honorary professor at the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins University, and an expert in biomedical engineering and biomechanics, dedicated to promoting international cooperation in this field.

The seminar gathered renowned scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds to discuss various topics, including the biomechanical issues of orthopedic implants, the biomechanical applications in shoulder instability surgery, neuromuscular control impairments in chronic ankle instability rehabilitation, and neurobiomechanics for enhancing foot function.

Dr. Zhu represented the Shanghai University team and presented the latest research findings in computational and experimental biomechanics of the human musculoskeletal system, including innovative testing technologies for implants. His work received recognition and guidance from Professor Zhao and the attending experts, leading to a consensus on further collaborative exchanges.

This seminar sparked new ideas for sports medicine research through expert guidance and the exchange of thoughts among peers!
